Question: My daughter has never played softball before. Does Rancho ACE have a program for her?

Answer: Yes, Absolutely! All Rancho Cucamonga ACE Softball is open to all girls, regardless of experience. It is designed to be challenging, instructional and fun!

Question: Do I appear in-person to register?

Answer: No, you need to register online through our online registration system.

If you're a new player to our league, we will need to verify your birth certificate when your player(s) comes to assessments.

Question: I registered my daughter to play softball. Now What?

Answer: You should be contacted by your daughter's manager within the first week after the draft. The date of the draft is listed on the calendar. If you have questions concerning registration, contact your Player Representative.

Question: Can I register my daughters to be on the same team?

Answer: Yes, if they qualify for the same division. Divisions are based on age.

Question: What if I want a refund?

Answer: Once teams have been formed and uniforms ordered, barring highly unusual or unforeseen circumstances, refunds will not be issued.  Alternatively, you may click here to request a refund and view our refund policy.

Question: What do our registration fees pay for?

Answer: Fees pay for items such as: Uniform jersey, balls, USA Softball insurance, umpire fees, field rental, field maintenance, utilities, picture packages, tournament medals, participation awards, etc.

Question: Why might league fees be increased from prior seasons?

Answer: If we were to change uniforms and/or pricing is different for uniforms. One of the largest expenses that the league incurs is for USA Softball registered umpires. The fee for one umpire has increased substantially over the years. Another possible increase might be due to our lighting bill.

Question: Why are league fees for T-Ball lower than the other divisions?

Answer: We do not use USA Softball umpires for T-Ball and therefore our T-Ball division does not incur this expense.

Question: Am I required to show a birth certificate to prove the age of my child?

Answer: Yes. Players new to Rancho ACE must bring a copy of their birth certificate at time of assessment check-ins. Returning players will not require a copy of their birth certificate to register.

Question: Why is the incentive deadline to submit registration so early?

Answer: In order to obtain field allocations from the City of Rancho Cucamonga and to order uniforms in time for season play, we are required to submit our requests in as early as possible. This allows Rancho Cucamonga  ACE Softball to properly allocate game and practice fields, plan for uniform purchases and determine the number of managers  required to ensure we have a successful season.

Question: When is the cutoff for registration?

A: Generally registration closes a day or two prior to our last scheduled assessment date. We cannot add players after assessments are completed and teams are drafted.
